Asia-Pacific to Become Largest M2M Market in 2013

  • Asia-Pacific is forecast to become the largest market for machine-to-machine (M2M) subscriptions in volume terms in 2013, and in 2016 is expected to account for 37 percent of the total market, according to a new report from Pyramid Research

However, adoption in most other large, emerging countries in the region is more limited, with operators focused on cost reduction, capacity management and subscription acquisition. “Total subscriptions are expected to increase from 18.4 million in 2010 to 104.8 million in 2016.
